EYELASH CURLER

I was finally able to get my hands on these eyelash curlers and couldn't wait to compare them! To be honest ladies they are amazing! Are they worth the money? Most definitely! BTW they re about $20 each. If you do some shopping around online you can find them for way less. 

Ok so even though I LOVE these two eyelash curlers I wouldn't go as far as saying that you can't get the same kind of curl from a regular eyelash curler. I use to love my MAC e.c. but it took me a lot more work to get the same kind of curl with it. I've tried revlon and e.l.f. and they all give you a nice curl but these two are just easier to use. I get a nice curl in less time and with less effort. 

Now to be honest I feel lucky because I can use both. My eye shape allows me to use both. They curl every single eyelash from one end to the other with one try. Unlike other curlers I have to keep repositioning the curler to make sure I get all of my lashes. So a lot of people seem to ask which one is better and to be honest I find them to be the same. I feel the only difference is the shape. If you have more of an Asian like shaped eye the Shu uemura is probably better for you. Its shape is noticeably flatter, it doesn't curve as much as others. 

If you have rounder eyes the Sheseido is probably better for you. To be honest they don't look any different from any other curler. They don't have more or less hinges, they don't require special instructions, they look just like any other curler. What I did notice is that my curl lasts longer and they just open up my eyes even more. If you have the money go ahead and invest in one they are amazing. If you can't spend that kind of money trust me you can get the same look with a regular eyelash curler, it will just take a little more time and effort.  

Garnier B.B. Cream

So my curiosity finally got the best of me and I gave in and bought a B.B. Cream. So I've been hearing a lot about these creams. A lot of people seem to like them. Well I looked into high end and low end creams and they all seem to claim to do the same thing. They're suppose to help even out skin tone some claim to help heal certain skin issues and they're suppose to have decent coverage. Some claim to to be and all in one. They claim to moisturize, conceal and give coverage. 

Well, I chose to go with a less expensive cream. To be honest it wasn't that cheap. Luckily I got it on sale. I have some mixed feelings about this product. I tried this out for about a week. I tried applying it with my beauty blender and a brush, it applies nicely either way. It gave me light coverage. It feels light and once your skin absorbs it it feels natural. 

Now the reason I only used it for about a week is  because I noticed my cheeks were starting to get more irritated. My usual face makeup routine requires concealer on my cheeks to even out the redness. Its not bad but I don't like the redness. So I also tried this cream with concealer and setting powder and I hated it! 

Now I wouldn't go as far as saying I won't purchase this again only because I found great use for it. I've been on a hunt for the right foundation color that matches my chest. Yes I said my chest. I don't like matching my foundation to my neck I feel like it still makes you look like you're wearing a mask. With that said I am now using this cream on my neck and it works great! I like that it blends my foundation color to my neck to my chest. Its a great median. 

So if you re looking to try B.B. Cream go ahead just be sure to buy it somewhere that allows you to return it, incase it doesn't work out for you. Just keep in mind it's not for all skin types. If you prefer full coverage makeup this probably isn't for you either. I can't speak for the higher end creams but this B.B. Cream offers medium coverage at the most.

My Formula For Perfect Hair!

HEY LADIES SO I DONT MEAN TO SOUND CONCEITED BUT I LOVE MY HAIR! I'VE ALWAYS PRIDED MYSELF ON IT! IT HASNT ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY THOUGH. GROWING UP I DID TAKE CARE OF IT AND I LOVED IT. I TOOK IT FROM BLACK TO BLONDE IN ONE DAY AND THANKFULLY IT WASNT NOTICEABLY DAMAGED. THEY SAY WHEN YOU GET PREGNANT THAT YOUR HAIR GROWS FASTER AND HEALTHIER. WELL THAT DIDNT HAPPEN FOR ME. IT ACTUALLY GREW OUT UGLY AND GOT NAPPY. I COULDN'T BRUSH IT. IT WAS A PAIN IN THE REAR TO STYLE IT. IT WAS A FLAT OUT A NIGHTMARE!

SO LIKE ANY DESPERATE PERSON I TRIED ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING TO TRY AND REPAIR MY HAIR. I WENT THROUGH THIS FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS. SO WHEN I GOT PREGNANT WITH MY 2ND CHILD YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW AFRAID I WAS OF WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN TO MY HAIR. LUCKLY IT DIDNT GET WORSE. I DONT KNOW IF IT WAS THE VITAMINS AND THE DIET I WAS ON THAT HELPED MY HAIR COME BACK TO LIFE BUT TO BE HONEST IM JUST GLAD MY HAIR IS BACK TO NORMAL.

SO SINCE I MAKE SURE TO TAKE CARE OF MY HAIR LIKE I DO MY KIDS.

THIS IS WHAT I USE TO KEEP IT HEALTHY. AFTER TRYING ALMOST EVERY HIGH END REPAIR TREATMENT IT TURNS OUT ALL I EVER NEEDED WAS THIS $4 BOTTLE OF AUSSIE: 3 MINUTE MIRACLE. I USE IT AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. WHEN I DO USE IT I USE IT AS A CONDITIONER. SINCE I USE HEAT TO STYLE MY HAIR I DONT USE ANY MOISTURIZING SHAMPOOS OR CONDITIONERS BECAUSE IT TENDS TO WEIGH DOWN MY HAIR AND MY HAIR LOCKS IN TOO MUCH MOISTURE. SO WHEN I APPLY HEAT IT FRYS IT REALLY UGLY. SO I USE A PLAIN CLEANSING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. RIGHT AFTER I SHOWER I SPRAY IN MY BAMBOO SMOOTH SPRAY. ITS A GREAT HEAT PROTECTANT FOR YOUR HAIR IF YOU USE HEAT A LOT OR HIGH HEAT TOOLS. ITS A LITTLE PRICEY BUT ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY. IT LEAVES MY HAIR NICE AND SMOOTH AND IT DETANGLES IT TOO. SO ONCE ITS STYLED I GO AHEAD AND APPLY A FEW DROPS OF THE AMIKA OIL TREATMENT FOR A LITTLE EXTRA SHINE. I LOVE THAT THE AMIKA OIL AND THE BAMBOO SPRAY HAVE NUMEROUS NATURAL INGREDIENTS. ALSO LADIES A LITTLE BIT OF THESE PRODUCTS GOES A LONG WAY. KEEP IN MIND LADIES I AM NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY I HAVE A LOT OF THICK HAIR. SO IF A LITTLE GOES A LOT WAY WITH ME THEN EVEN LESS WILL GO A LONG WAY WITH YOU.

SO TO BE HONEST WITH EVERYONE IT TOOK ME YEARS TO FIND THE RIGHT  FOUNDATION. I WENT FROM HIGH END TO DRUG STORE FOUNDATIONS TO MINERAL AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. FOR A LONG WHILE I WAS STUCK TO USING MAC FOUNDATIONS. FIRST IT WAS THE STUDIO FIX THEN THE BODY AND FACE MAKEUP AND FINALLY THIER TINTED MOISTURIZER. WHICH TO BE HONEST THE TINTED MOISTURIZER WAS THE BEST IN MY OPINION. FOR A WHILE I BELIEVED THAT IF YOU PAID MORE FOR A PRODUCT THAT MEANT YOU WERE GETTING THE BEST OF THE BEST. SO NOT TRUE! TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT I AM A MOM OF TWO BEAUTIFUL KIDS AND NOW THEIR NEEDS COME FIRST. SO WITH THAT SAID YOU WILL PROBABLY UNDERSTAND THAT MY FINANCIAL SITUATION CHANGED AND I WAS FORCED TO EXPLORE OTHER OPTIONS. WELL FINALLY ONE DAY I CAME ACROSS AN AMAZING SALE ON MAYBELLINE AND SAID WHAT THE HECK WHY NOT GIVE THIS SUPER STAY FOUNDATION A TRY! I FELL IN LOVE!

LADIES KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES SO THIS MIGHT AND MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU. THIS MOST DEFINITELY WORKS FOR ME . THE FIRST THING I LOVE ABOUT IT IS THE PRICE. IM NO LONGER PAYING $30 FOR A BOTTLE OF FOUNDATION. I NOW PAY ABOUT A THIRD OF THAT. IT REALLY DOES LAST ALL DAY FOR ME. I MIGHT HAVE TO TOUCH UP ONCE BUT THATS RARE. I HAVE OILY SKIN AND THIS FOUNDATION DOESNT  IRRITATE MY SKIN OR CLOG MY PORES BUT IT IS A FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION! I FOUND THE BEST WAY TO APPLY THIS FOUNDATION WAS WITH A FLAT TOP FOUNDATION BRUSH, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY AND THE BRUSH HELP SPREAD IT EVENLY. IF YOU HAVENT TRIED IT YET I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU DO. INCASE YOU RE STILL NOT FULLY SOLD MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE IT SOMEWHERE YOU CAN RETURN IT!
